It might pull on the hair and attachment point instead of gently separating the strands, damaging the extensions along with your natural hair.   Look for brushes with soft or looped bristles   Each extension is connected to a small section of your natural hair using something like a keratin bond, a micro-ring, tape, or a sewn weft.
