How to Choose the Best Brush or Comb for Your Hair Extensions

Image
Did you know that using the wrong brush for your hair extensions can snag the bonds and loosen the attachments? It might pull on the hair and attachment point instead of gently separating the strands, damaging the extensions along with your natural hair.   Look for brushes with soft or looped bristles   Each extension is connected to a small section of your natural hair using something like a keratin bond, a micro-ring, tape, or a sewn weft. Those attachment points stick out a little, and the bristles of a normal hairbrush can get caught and pull on them, loosening the extension and tugging on your natural hair. Ouch!   Brushes made for hair extensions are specially designed with bristles that slide around the attachment points. For example, our HairX Pro Wooden Paddle Bristle Brush  uses soft nylon bristles that glide through the hair with minimal catching on micro-rings or keratin bonds. It works wonderfully well for everyday smoothing!   Another option...
